AHINSA Tea gets certification from Control Union
Control Union Certifications, an international group of companies specialising in independent cargo surveying, super-intending and certification, recently issued to the Nilmini Estate certifications on Organic Production Methods for both US and EU standards. The certificates were issued in Colombo on March 25, 2008.
Control Union declared to have inspected the units and products of the Nilmini Estate -- proud makers of AHINSA Tea products -- and have found them in accordance with the standards of the National Organic Programme of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA-NOP). The declaration was made by Mr. S. K. Pathirage, Certifier for Control Union Certifications.
