What We Will Do
When you invest $500 in the Nilmini Estates (Pvt) Ltd we will plant 60 tea bushes with your money in the Nilmini Estate located in Ihala Millawa, Morawaka, Sri Lanka.
These plants will take 2 ½ to 3 years to mature and yield green tea leaf. We will process the green tea leaf in our own tea factory located in the same estate and ship you the tea. Thus, we will ensure you a monthly supply of one pound of Pure Ceylon Organic Black Tea starting from 2 ½ years after your investment is made.
However, the first 100 investors will not have to wait for this long to receive their tea. They will start receiving theirs from the month immediately after their investment is made.
We will include a complementary picture of the plot of 60 tea bushes that were cultivated with the money from your investment once in every six months. If you wish we could send your annual tea quota as one or two shipments, if that is the method you would prefer to receive the final ready to consume tea.
Please note that there is a possibility of your tea to get mixed with other similar investors’ or with Nilmini Estate’s own tea due to complexities involved in withering, rolling and drying etc. If you prefer your tea to be processed entirely from the green tea leaf from your tea bushes without mixing with the green tea leaf from the bushes belonging to other similar investors, please let us know.
For an additional $250, we will ensure that the tea you receive will be processed manually only with the green tea leaf plucked from your own bushes. Your total one time investment then would be $750, provided that you bear the shipping cost.

Options for the Tea Bush Offer

Option B: Some of our customers have asked us that whether it is truly economical to invest the above stated $500 and obtain one pound of made tea for 300 consecutive months. Our answer is YES and we would like to offer you instead of made tea offer a cash incentive to make this investment. Let us say if you make 6% interest for the invested $500 per year you will make $30 and we will pay you at the end of each year $30 as your interest is earning. How many investments in the world one could make a 6% interest earnings under the present financial conditions? The manner by which we pay $30 per year is this: We sell your 12-lbs of tea per year at a rate of $2.5 per lbs and pay that $30 to you. How could we assure you this? Through a certificate and the Nilmini Estate (Pvt) Ltd guarantee your interest payment for 300 months.
Option C: Now you have already two options: to obtain 12 lbs of made tea per year or obtain $30 per year. The third option is to donate that $30 per year to a school-going child below certain level of income. The Nilmini Estate personally supervises this event and assure you that $30 would be donated to a child who will send you his picture for every six months. The Estate will make sure the depositor gets the exact name, age and school he or she is studying according to depositor's wishes.
Option D: This is the final option at what you could do with the $500 investment. Option D will allow you to grow five large tropical trees endemic to the Estate nearby rain forest. The Estate will provide the botanical name of the trees and amount of Carbon that trees possibly can absorb or Carbon sequestration per year of those trees. We charge $100 for a tree to be planted and nurtured up to 300 months and photographs every six months will be posted in our website. This is a donation.
The choice is yours: own and drink your own tea, plant tea bushes and get money, or donate that money to poor and deserving child in rural Sri Lanka or plant five tropical trees that perhaps may have the highest potential for Carbon sequestration.
